A new study has revealed that opioid related deaths increased 292% from 2001 to 2016. That's a staggering increase in such a short time span! The article states that is one in every 65 deaths in the U.S. Despite the vast amount of money invested in rehabs, treatment centers, and health programs to combat drug abuse, the problem continues to worsen.
As Christians, we know the true answer to this is the gospel of Jesus Christ. The field is ripe for harvest! We live in a country with an ever increasing propensity to serious, destructive sin. May we be compelled to offer the grace of God in light of the coming wrath of God against sin.
